"But The future couldn't see me..."

Am currently at a mobile markmeting event although I'm wondering - is there any value in mobile friendly platforms these days? This kernel of a thought hit me on the way here...

With so many phones having full web access these days and so much content being delivered through bespoke apps is that not where the really interesting developments lie?

I am planning the labels movements for next year as we speak and thinkng about mobiles a lot... Any thoughts anyone has feel free to indulge me -
